Collectible Character
A character design for a collectible character for a supermarket chain, that could be posed, given props, and a backstory that could be expanded and expanded upon.
How it started
I was asked for a potential client to design a collectible. The kind that supermarkets and snack companies distribute.

Fleshing out the idea
I came up with a character that:
- Was posable
- Would look good in smaller dimensions (had to fit in candy bags)
- Could be given many props
- Had a backstory of travel and adventure that could be expanded upon.
Show further development
The client liked the initial idea, but wanted a central “thing” that would encourage people to collect them, such as a central game board, or a book with numbers for each collectible.
So I developed the character as a mascot for my own work instead.
